Face off with enemy tanks and survive! Will you be one of the worthy few to earn the title of "Fearless"?

 

Event start: 20 May 2016 at 18:00 (UTC+8)

Event end: 6 June 2016 at 17:00 (UTC+8)

 

Mechanics:

1. Limited to tanks tier 5 or higher.
2. Play a minimum of 100 battles during this period.
3. Players will compete to get the highest Kill/Death ratio for this period.
4. No need to submit screenshots for this event.
5. Only battles within this event period will go into the official count.

 

Prizes:

• 10 winners of IS-6 Fearless + Garage Slot
  • Top 10 players with the highest kill/death ratio
  • In the event of ties, the prizes will go to the players who have the higher battle count with the same kill/death ratio
• 40 winners of 500 gold + 3 days premium
  • Randomly drawn from players ranked 11~100 by kill/death ratio

 

Important:

• Winners will be announced via the discussion thread within 1 week after the event concludes.
• Prizes will be awarded within 1 week after the winners are announced (usually sooner!). Prize awarding updates will be indicated in the winner announcement post.

Where can you find out your death/kill rate? I looked un my record but it wasn't there? Will there be a counter in game and lastly to increase your kill rate it that just getting a kill in a match ( pretty obvious just checking )

This is one of those contests that favors the unicums and super unicums... anyone without current avg. Kill/Death ratio > 2.5 has little chance of joining the top 50.

 

Since the R2.9, good number of the top players have been absent or participated minimally.

 

Maybe this contest will help bring them back, and a chance to win the Fearless that only Pimp has on Asia server!

Hi Jeram,

 

Look for Kill Ratio or Death/Kill Ratio in any of these sites as your 'baseline'... just take a screen shot now, and compare after 6/6.

No there aren't any in-game counter to show your contest performance, you will have to track it yourself.

in my eyes, WG's broken attempt to encourage top players to return.

 

I will be making my leave soon, there is little point in playing a bug infested "world of russian tanks"

This will be won by super unicums who platoon 100% in an op tank such as t34-85. This will be very difficult for a solo player to win. I bet there will be some good players in the lower tiers whilst this is on.

The Kill/Death Ratio basis for this event will only be for Kills/Deaths within the event period. Your existing pre-event Kill/Death Ratio won't be counted.

WG might as well give to the Fearless to the current top players. There's no point of having this contest as its only Unicum's or Super-unicum's are going to win it. Nothing for the average Joe here

tier level on this event is too low, i can stat pad my tier 6/7 with 5 or 6 KD for the next 2 weeks and hopefully reach top 100..... sadly even if i reach top 100, there's no guarantee i'll get it since it will be "randomly drawn from rank 11-100". so if i reach rank 12, there's a possibility i'll not get that 500 gold and premiums. -_-''

Try play some german op light tank or japanese mediums (although i'll admit tier 8/9 japanese meds is.... hard to play) and wait for chinese heavy or france mediums, it will give you a boost to play some more. but i'll admit, russian tanks especially their mediums is op as hell. WG should nerf T62 and obj-140, and make leopard and STB-1 both having 1st and 2nd highest DPM medium in the game

I think they should fix the match making algorithmn first before introducing this contest.

 

it should also match players evenly across both sides rather than one sided games which result in 7-0 or 7-1 scoreline. I have seen my win rate come down from 58% to 51% over the games. I guess one way is to use the win rate % as a basis.
