Bring back the Oasis map!

I'd rather have an unbalanced map and have more variety in map choices, than to be stuck with the same smaller subset of maps that we have now.

I'd rather be put on the weaker side of the map more often, and tio work on developing better personal skills, than t have my world size decreased just because some players complain.

I especially like that map since its one of the few places where we can really roam around!

But if two tier IX flank - its all over - I'm gonna sit at home and flank while watching pron - and the best flanking shoes? Someone else's Nikes obviously

If you see Tricks and Dix in a plat, just adopt a BBIC playstyle, you can't win - leave your shoes next to your tank, we'll collect them after the game.

I quite like the map.  Why did they remove it?

The mediums can roam, TDs snipe, heavies punch.

Although the number of campers is disturbing, but thats the same on other maps.

IMO it favoured heavily the northern spawn point.

WG would have the data to back that up too.

maybe so... but couldnt they have just left it up? There are other maps which have imbalances as well, but given enough time in the game, you will get a go at each side...

I just would have preferred that they left it up 'unbalanced' not take it away entirely while they change it... and there are still enough noobs throughout the game so that no-one seeme to realise that the way to win battles in that map is to rush the cap and hull down there while the enemy dies against your fortifications...

Really?  I didn't find it biased either way.

The programmer could just shift the spawning area and everything would have balanced out.

Or the cap area, whichever WG finds it best. And as far as taking down an unbalanced map for reworking, this is normal for WG to do. They did it a number of times in the PC version such as Redshire, Dragon Alley(not sure of the name exactly, it's the one with mountains and rice terraces), and so on.

Was my fave map due to the open-nature but juuuuuust enough cover to favour sound op doctrine.

Yes the north was heavily favoured, especially when your defending base there's a spot where u can hull down and have clear shots of the enemy with out you getting blasted in to pieces.

I LOVED that map! I could really get my mediums up to top speed and tear into the enemy camp catching stupid campers off guard. Then mop up the fools who always hide up in the hills. Good times, good times!!!
