One or two tiers hgher than their regular tanks will be good enough.

This way, they are not too far away from their present standard and yet they can have a taste of what is to come.

No restrictions will be good for the company cos it will be makng money in the fastest way possible.

However, this will be like giving the vehicle keys to a teenager to drive a three tonne truck who has no much training.

Just bcos s/he has the money to buy may not mean s/he is qualified.

In the long run, players may be turned off by the behaviours of both the noob players and the greed of the company and switch to an alternative similar game who are more stringent with their policies.

Last but not least, give credit to some clever players who can get the hang of the game after a few fast battles. We will be tie-ing down and preventing this group of genius players to get ahead if we have too strict a ruling.

TBH, i would recommend that there would be some certain restriction on the "pay 2 win newbies".

examples including:

  1. having a certain amount of battles
  2. battle score
  3. win rate (maybe a little too harsh)

it would also be nice to have a little training room where people would jump in fighting npc tanks.

The irony is that they are not "pay 2 win newbies",in fact they are "pay 2 lose newbies"......

Well, it should be win-win situation as WG is company that pursue profits.

My suggestion is, let the new players to buy any premium tanks as long it is tier 6 and lower. This is because game become more competitive at tier 7 and above. Therefore, lots of serious player are playing in this tier.

Above all that, this is a free-to-play game. No one force us to play...but, WG need to keep the game momentum and quality at the highest level since most of the profits will come from the players that are serious with this game. o7!

^^ agree for Tier 6 and lower

Yeah they should add a little restriction.....I meant what if a new player just spammed gold for tank and doesn't know how to tank properly.....would be sucks for the player and the team (but the factor is....if they had the skill to play properly and wanted to get more credit by using premium tank, this would be a issue

This.

bypassing the lower tiers and their "training time" is not good for the new player or their soon to be angry green team mates. I saw a top tier IS6 recently be carried by green tier 7s, the IS6 did zero damage and died within a minute. The player clearly had no idea what they were doing. I checked their stats later. They'd played 70 games in total, 20 in tiers 1-3 and 50 in an IS6. I don't want this guy on green or red at tier 8 unless they get there through a grind.

None.  It doesn't really matter in any case.  Noobs can easily grind up to tier 10 without learning anything.  Might as well let them pay for the development of the game.

I agree. Higher number of battles do not equal higher skill.

I think a proper anti AFK system (e.g. zero credits/XP) will have a longer and better effect on reducing high tier wallet warriors. If they play poorly and dont make credits in their high tier Wallet 34, noobs will go to lower tiers to learn.

WG need to make the game skill based if they want to see playing standards improve. Considering my teams are usually -50% WR - either standards are rapidly declining, or there is a fixed MM.

I'm just going to put another thing out here. Occasionally players move between countries, and go to different servers at times to get their fix. If restrictions get put on them buying premiums on the new server because they haven't ground out that tier on their new server then how many of these admittedly rare players are just going to not play anymore because they once again need to grind from tiers 1 to get to higher tiers. I'm not sure what you guys out there who have other accounts on other servers have in those garages, but I'm guessing that you aren't playing on the other servers just to experience tier 1-3 games.

Don't  base on stats perhaps number of games say 1000 unlocks means they have some rudimentary notion of game play :)

Unfortunately battle number doesn't show skill. There are always those ignorant people who don't want to learn.

May not always work. People who rush up one line can get the T-44 in 2000 battles or less. Doesn't stop newbies from rushing to unlock 'em.

2k battles definitely better than 20...

Issue is, I have a second account I'm not playing on and just buying premiums on so I can become a violet stet pedder who kemps bush and utilises unfair plane on. If this was implemented, I, or any other person couldn't do this despite being a very decent player with a lot of games under their belt and an inclination to grind credits and free exp by spending their money.

Its a game let people buy what they want. Deal with whatever team you are given and stop thinking winning an app game is that important.
If I see a tier 8 premium I want I should be able to buy it.
Having said that I don't intend going past tier 4 if +1 -1 MM is not introduced.

No restrictions but a MM algorithm that keeps them out of my team.

I think it's pointless to restrict them. Sure it's frustrating, but I see lousy players every day and it's only rarely that they are in this category. Often they have plenty of tanks in their garage and lots of battles under their belt.

It should be a purely skill based measure that can be reasonably achieved by moderate players up e.g.

- minimum two Tier X above 45% WR

Or

- 15 badges of 1 or Mastery tier 4 or above.

I don't agree with some of the other suggestions because :

- Number of battles is pointless due to bots/afk.

- Based upon owning a same tier doesnt reflect skill. Noobs can grind, just badly.

Why  not try the "rent" system?

Rent for 10% the gold for a day, then if you don't like, don't spend more, and if you like, then spend the 90% gold more. Will save a lot of heartache, and rant.

PS: can I sell my jgtig 8.8 for gold?
