so exactly how do I use this tank, I did get quite a few good games on the thing, but I'm not really feeling that invincibility vibe from the ls3. It seems to behave more like a medium with its insane speed (for a heavy). I didn't get the top gun yet but I'm working towards it. Apart from that, is the ls7 really worth this grind or should I just start the German line already? Not even gonna bother with American, I'd say they are crap compared to their competition, paper armour and all. Any tips on how to be a badass on th ls8 will be much appreciated.

You are wrong about the US line the t32 & t29 are hull down monsters and can bounce shells comfortably once you learn how to angle them.

M103 is light armour woes but the shape of turret means you bounce stuff all day and the hull supports angling very nicely.

Not to mention speed wise the 32 and m103 both move quick and traverse very nicely so you can flank with confidence and handle mediums and such a lot better than mist heavies.

Play the IS-8 like a super medium tank, it has a heavy tanks gun, length, and weight and have a medium tank speed, traverse and reload speed. Its penetration value is among the best of the heavy tanks in this game with amazing DpM for a 122mm M62-T2 gun. It has good alpha damage compared to the other 122mm (altho slightly but it can damage up to 500 damage per shoot). It has great accuracy for a large caliber gun on a heavy and if you add a gun laying drive and vertical Stabilizer this tank can perform extraordinarily to become a sniper and a flanker. It should not show its hull at any points possible as it is quite weak. Try to play smart with this and you will always appear as the best in the end. The IS-7 differs very very far from the Is-8 however manages to keep its good mobility. The is-8 would teach you to be very careful and mindful on the IS-7 which is a strategy that a IS-7 should have. The turret of the IS-7 due to its slope and thickness, it can bounce even tier 10 TD shoots very easily. Its higher glacis is quite revolutionary due to its very good slope makes the 150mm of armor far more effective than meets the eye plus the IS-7s lower glacis can hold up against 225mm of pen when faced directly forward. Most shoots that misses the lower glacis will most often be bounced by the higher glacis

"Right or wrong, evil or good, but they still fight, without second thoughts they march up to the enemy, they dont hope to go home tommorow, their families are now their war brothers, every bullet they shoot, every lives they taken, every blood they spilt, did they give up? They'll never give up, for their flag they will fight, even if it means dying at cost, rather than die in vain, they'll fight for whats theirs, until the last blood drop, they are the soldiers of war" -war-

Agree.

IS8- If you haven't played mediums before, follow the mediums when they push. Sit just a little bit back behind them so that if the faster mediums push past your team you don't get circle stomped, and then give the enemy a bad day with your awesome gun..

The IS8 is definitely not an IS3 armour wise, but that comes back by the time you get to the IS7. It is worth staying with.

And I;'ve had much more success with the american heavies like rev says - its brilliant to know that just about nothing can pen the front of your turret when you're in the 32 and hull down

WoT Blitz - :Legend of BBIC

But if two tier IX flank - its all over - I'm gonna sit at home and flank while watching pron - and the best flanking shoes? Someone else's Nikes obviously

If you see Tricks and Dix in a plat, just adopt a BBIC playstyle, you can't win - leave your shoes next to your tank, we'll collect them after the game.

The M103 has 1 extremely dire major flaw, its turret cheeks is extraordinarily easy to penetrate as its only 120mm. Its also quite easy to shoot it from medium distances and any time you turn your turret is pure punishment as it is huge, flat and not well armored. The M103s lower glacis is quite easy to penetrate also. Howver the M103 has good dpm, firepower and accuracy. Its sides and rear is much less to be desired as its extremely thin. It should be played also carefully and hull down but should not brawl like the E75 does as its turret cheek and lower glacis is easily shoot at close distances.  It has very good fun depression so use this to your advantage. It also have the same mobility capability like the is-8 does which makes it easy to drive and can pull out of a fire fight.
