First you climb the hill, best to do it in groups, and make sure there is no cover what so ever.

Next, you line up perfectly in a row, and spots an enemy.

Then you get shot

At the start of the game, looking at the team.  Man, we are going to kill this.  A platoon of IS.  It will be just like the IS3 game a while back, where I followed a platoon of E100, boom, boom, boom and I clean up the scrapes.  Easy game.  But then one IS rams into the other IS, the two looks at each other looking lost, before deciding to go up the flank.  Then one IS does this. along with a medium and TD.  We were lucky this game ended in a draw.....

Got to be fair to the T-34-85, by the second picture he did have some cover on the flanks. Provided by his two teammates sure, but at least some. :child:

Are you really surprised by this behavior? I see similar silliness all the time.

I am more annoyed at the "fail" platoon.  Why platoon if you are not going to work together?  Two IS, side by side, going boom boom boom, can be very dangerous, especially when they are top tier.  But instead they rammed one another, looked lost, then one of them decide to climb a hill.

In the IS3 game that I mentioned, the first E100 peaked and boomed, then the second peaked and boomed, and I cleaned up with the last boom.  Went through about 3 tanks in the same sequence with one shot each.  Covered each other's reload time, and boom boom boomed.

I do believe that based on my in-game observations many, many, MANY of our fellow gamers have advanced well beyond 101....

Yeah, we need some courses on hill climbing.  Its tough.

Being serious here.  Take the Oasis as an example, I recently started the Su85, and I have seen campers in the little alcove between the left spawn and the big hill.  Tried to get up there to have a look, but nope, just can't get up there....  Same with the other desert map, I have no idea how to get up to some of those hills.

I do scratch my head at the astonishing effort some blokes devote to reversing, angling and finagling their heavies and mediums into allegedly "optimal" sniping positions, apparently oblivious to the fact that by Tier 3 or 4 at the latest most sane drivers would have at least an inkling of where the snipe/camp spots are on each of the maps.

Of course, if the effort invested in finding that ideal over watch position was instead put toward situational awareness, observation, communicating with fellow toon members and agreeing on a basic plan for the battle.....oh forget it, we know they ain't gonna change,

They already got multiple PhD's in camping. As far as hill climbing is concerned, nothing a little running space, crack and nitrous can't fix

Just had a fight on the same map where I had a M6 camp up that hill somewhere behind me. Top tiers were an enemy T-43 and my 75% skill Panther I. And as much as I hate heavies camping, he kept me alive as faced a JgPzr IV, StuG, T-34-85 and the T-43 with some other help. And he didn't panic when I was reversing away late on with my 120hp remaining up against the T-43 with 6x that that was so close on the other side of the pillars that I could smell the vodka on the enemy commander's breath. So to Aki3332, if you are lurking around here...... :medal: and don't do it again. And to boorin34 in the T-1 who also stayed behind. Still wish I had of got that fourth kill on the T-43 after relocating and taking out the KV-1 though, but three and the win was good.
