After jpanther, should I go for Ferdinand or JPanther II? Also, if in some time, I buy both of them, will the experience add up for buying Jagtiger?(A noob question I think)

I vote for jpanther ii, well becoz its speed is more better than ferdi, so you can run easily if you get spotted by opfors..

btw try to take cover or else, tiger ii, is3, is8 and e75 will kill you fastly becoz jpanther ii has deadly gun:bajan:

good luck, TX

e75 is my Forte!

1)Never like ferdinand before, while I heard jpanther 2 is really fast

2)I guess it won't add up

I have the Ferdi, it aint bad but it's slow as buggery and the grind is one of the worst in the game.

From observing the JPanth 2 I would vote that as the best option.

Keep your JPanther too, best T7 in the game IMO.

Cheers

Jpanther > Ferdinand

Sloped > Flat

Fast > Slow

Do the opposite of what you were taught in school. Wander aimlessly. Make a mess. Question everything.

worked out for me

It seems i'm the only voting for the ferdinand....
Here's my opinion on it
Yeah , jpanther II is faster , and yes , jpanther II armor is sloped
But , the jagdpanther II sloped front isnt really thick and will at best bounce lower tier guns , only your super structure can bounce reliably , and you have to be hulldown for it to work
Ferdinand , on the other hand requires some finesse to work that 200mm flat face armor , you need to angle it properly and wiggle it if you recognize your opponent gun is aiming for your weakspot. Done right , IS 3 and the likes will bounce all day while you pen them easily with your 128mm gun
Once hulldown , an angled ferdinand will basically bounce everything that doesnt have over 300 pen easily .

Notice i said angled ferdinand ? Yes , the ferdinand has one of the widest gun arc among tier 8 TDs that you can angle safely and still fire at the opfor , this works extremely well in middleburg's city and other similar environment , preferably in a inverted sidescrape position where you show your hull and hide your side hulls and weak cheeks
I've carried games in this ferdinand simply because opfor heavies fall victim to my angled ferdinand blasting away their hp , 450 at a time and not taking much of a damage in return from their 122mm/105mm guns . at stock , the ferdinand stinks , my WR in it suffers badly because the speed , traverse and the gun makes it basically an ISU without the 152mm gun . but , once fully upgraded , this ferdinand is a TD you dont want to face frontally especially when you're not driving the likes of IS 7 against it

Ferdi armor is quite useless at high tier game while having sluggish speed too. I vote for JP2. Speed>Armor
Trust me, I am a pure noob. But I can carry any game with my T95.

Ferdinand or the Jagdpanther II... Rhienmetall Bors- Oops, that's not in the game yet!

To be honest, Jagdpanther II. The Ferdinand is only there in PC because you need 2 loaders for the Jagdtiger, except the Jagdpanther II only carriers 1. In Blitz? I'll take he Jagdpanther II any day.

Thanks everyone for their replies. I have already take JPanther II and played a good number of battles in it. Its actually a pretty good tank, though not when stock.

Then the ferdinand dont know how to handle a T-54 , or you catch him in a bad position

When i'm driving a ferdinand , i usually kill the 54's tracks first while he's going to turn , that usually ruins his circling maneuver , deals hp damage and buys me time to put another shot into him and back myself into a wall to completely block him and murder the 54 from there

i have 2 repair kits and aderline and 20heat in my t54 enough to devastate any td in the game.the ferdinand always loses due to one reason:hecant shoot me.i stick my tank side to his front armour and he just  has my turet to shoot on and a t54 turret is impenetrable .then i use aderline and spam heat

Of course you will win in that case , but you're driving a tier 9 medium against a tier 8 TD , its not even a fair matchup from the start

any tier 8 td is equally screwed against something like T-54

I have both of them, yes JPII is faster but I way more comfortable playing with ferdie (or its because JPII isn't in 100% crew)
