That RoF? Hmm. Is it worth?
Trust me, I am a pure noob. But I can carry any game with my T95.

Not much of a hype.  They nerfed the ROF bad.  Maybe they will do a E25 and buff it later.  Still an interesting tank for its credit making abilities though.

Saw two staff running su-122 44's last week on Lost Temple. I suspect that means they are coming to a map near you soon. They both got smoked, btw.

Maybe in 3-4 weeks we will see Ruckus and Bushka make their review about this tank......:great:

Bought it this morning, so far its a pretty solid tank with good credit potential.

But before you think about buying it.

  • Gun depression - well, there is no depression to speak of.
  • Gun arc - well, there is next to no arc to speak of.
  • Mobility is good, but just on par with JP and T25AT, so nothing to write home about.
  • Gun is typical Russian, ROF is lowish, but workable.
  • Armour is decent against lower tiers, but I suspect people will soon learn and start spamming gold soon.

So, pretty much an average TD.  I don't usually run premium acc, so I am not familar with the credit earn rates with it.  But after 40 games, I cleared about 1.7mil with the 3 included premium days.  This include the use of rations.

To sum up.

Good credit maker, average TD, fun if you like the aggressive up front/close support TD play style.

I played alongside Mega_Mouth yesterday in one of these and he carved up with 3182 damage on Winter Malinovka yesterday in a Tier 7-5 game! I was a bit surprised as I couldn't buy one at the time. But it could move quick and he threw it into the thick of things. I thought I did okay for my 2 kills but wow he threw down some damage.

It's only a scratch, just buff it out.

They are easy enough to pen though. I know I've put a round straight through the front in a Churchill I. Just can't quite remember if I had loaded magic shot or not.

C1 should be able to pen it with a high roll on the AP round.

The effective is about 170 odd, but since most of it is due to the angle, it can be negated quite easily.  E.g. face hug, or just by being at a higher elevation.

Still, its pretty good so far, 2 steel walls over 60 games, compared to the 2 steels in the JP over 250 odd.  Its not something that you swear by but its capable.

Not sure why people are making a big deal of the D25 and preferential MM?  It's essentially the same gun on the IS, KV3 and Su152, as well as the IS6, and they all see tier 9s.  Except it have a higher DPM, better dispersion and way superior aim time than IS, KV3 and IS6.  The only negative is that it has a lower DPM than the 152, but still on par with the two American tier 7 TDs.

It's got a nice Camo rating too.

Only second to the cockroach.

But I don't think this is a stay behind and hide tank.

But maybe when facing tier9s.

Got my Mastery badge on my THIRD battle in this beast,1st Class on the second battle.

You do not need much gun depression just because you are so freaking low to the ground

The gun penetration is not really bad so a tier 7,i loaded APCR and penetrated the turret of a M103

Not a bad credit maker at all.

To sum it up,it is like a E25 that is slower, bigger and lower camo rating and no preference MM,however what you get is a classic moderate penetration high alpha and decent ROF Russian gun. Its a good trade to avoid the (amazing)* penetration of the E25 gun

I saw a lot of this tank over the weekend, more than I had expected.... WG must have generated good revenue with this release.

But more interestingly is that I didn't see it flanking as much or as hard, like the cockroach.  Most of the ones I saw did some damage, nothing major.  Many of them were actually playing it like a TD.  I would've assume that it plays similar to the cockroach and just constantly moving/killing/moving/killing all the time.  It's like playing the T49 like a TD when it should play like a medium with a big gun.

Good luck on the battlefield!
