The problem with height, is usually there also isn't much cover up there on most maps. So you are relying on being far enough back that they don't see you when you fire. An open-topped vehicle at tier 6 is asking to be shot up fast when it doesn't have hard cover to hide behind. And a Dicker Max is easier to hit than a JagdPanzer IV, being bigger.
I don't have a Dicker Max, and it is pretty rare to see them, but even back in the day when tiers 4 could see them, they weren't scary. I think my strategy with it would be hope i'm bottom tier and get carried for the win.
For sale: Near new Dicker Max. One careful owner, only 6 weeks old and engine regularly serviced. Offers

If only... the Dicker Max is on my wishlist. $13 for a new one, would you take $4? Depreciation... It loses at least 50% when you drive it off the lot.
Lol I got a good trade in special on a new Jadgtiger 8.8, test drove it and it survived the battle. Good gun depression like the Dicker Max

Ha, yeh I bought one when they were discounted recently. Had the odd good game in it were I've spread a bit of damage out on the enermy team.( not saying I necessarily survived the game). Like most of the slower TD's you're at the mercy of your team and there tactics (if any). I usually try and find a spot at the back and support the advancing team members if the spot permits fire and retreat to reload as it's a bit slow. There's a YouTube clip by 48ton_ruckus were he talks about concealment while driving a SU 100Y witch I found quite helpful.
At least it's not as bad as the Churchhill GC. that tank is lethal ( on your own stats haha ). I made the mistake of getting it at stock and it was a painful grind to fully research all upgrades. I think the C should actually stand for coffin.

I have this weird feeling that my T-150 faced your Dicker Max today, would that be right?

I want to say Falls Creek in a tier 7 game. You were on a position overwatching the lake near your spawn and your team sort off just fell apart. I have this sneaky suspicion that I might've dropped a lucky kill shot from near the circle as you were dodging my teams mediums that came to get you. I think you might've actually been the only person to get a good hit on me.

I regretted selling my DM, so got it restored this week. I really wanted the Castilla map for my first battle in it and luck would have it I got it. Won battle, destroyed 3 tanks and survived. I can handle that map nicely. Think I'm appreciating that gun depression now too

Yeh I found out about that on a osirish YouTube were he reviews premium tanks on the pc version of the game
It's quite a good credit earner as well.#39 Posted 10 October 2015 - 10:39 AM
It's a very powerful tank. I even wish it has a "nerfed" match making so that I can make more credits out of it.
It is not a hard tank to play, but it plays differently from any other tanks in game...
It is a tank really only capable of supporting, and can be supporting in strange places.
Btw, one thing I notice. This is the only tank if I use it to spot, I lose the game.... So hide yourself well and wait for the shot. 4K games are waiting for you!

I'd really appreciate it if you could give me some pointers on how you mean 'strange places' Only place I have had success is on Castilla map sniping from corner as tanks come down road at distance.
