Hi there fairly new to the game and had most of my enjoyable success in the Marder II. I play the classic TD role of find cover, hide, snipe etc. But I cannot get a handle on the Dicker Max. it is slow and large and only had success in Middleburg and the odd Rockfield game. has anyone used this enough to feel comfortable at getting a good game of it?

Cheers Peter

I remember month ago that i was using this tank on my father's account... It seemed like a marder2 and it really looks like too. For me my playstyle was sniping. I go up to high ground everytime... Its armor is crap so you dont wanna get spotted if not... Bye bye. I once carried 6 kills to win game but that was pure luck and accidental.

It's got bad armour, but 10.5cm is good

Lol don't expose yourself to enemies. Your armour is weak, shoot while you're hidden. Peekaboo

Im going to have to study study study the maps in the hope of finding some positions that offer height and cover :)

Hi Peter,

Welcome to the forum.

Statistically this is the worst vehicle in the game (lowest Win Rate).

I see you added this Dicker Max post in the Armoured Vehicle Discussions section. As this is the weakest tank, I like your sense of sarcasm...

"Peekaboo"? You're probably right - the best chance a Max has is just suprising enemies to death...

Admirable to try to play this tank. But it just seems such a weak vehicle, its like fighting with one hand tied behind your back. Goodluck - hope it goes well!

There are very few tds which are a match 1 on 1 so best would be to get into positions where u can take advantage of its strong points. I don t own a dicker max though.

I try to rely on height and camouflage and support from team ;)  -  But I usually die after firing only a few rounds, so sloooow to relocate once battle in flow :(. Struggle on map redesigns now they have taken away all my cover and sniping positions.

Maybe try it out as a support vehicle as in a second line of gun. The wr for this tank isn t good so quite a few will have trouble managing its weaknesses.

The problem with height, is usually there also isn't much cover up there on most maps. So you are relying on being far enough back that they don't see you when you fire. An open-topped vehicle at tier 6 is asking to be shot up fast when it doesn't have hard cover to hide behind. And a Dicker Max is easier to hit than a JagdPanzer IV, being bigger.

I don't have a Dicker Max, and it is pretty rare to see them, but even back in the day when tiers 4 could see them, they weren't scary. I think my strategy with it would be hope i'm bottom tier and get carried for the win.
