DATE AND TIME:

To allow us to review your event proposals and have the articles up on the portal, all event proposals must be made at least 3 weeks (21 days) prior to the proposed event date.

Event time must be in your local time.

VENUE:

Almost any place that has a good wifi connection can serve as a Blitz Action venue. Here are some things you might want to consider when choosing one:

  • Location:
    • Some location suggestions include campuses, coffee shops, hobby stores, games stores, etc. Just make sure that you get the necessary permissions (in writing!) to avoid any problems during the event,
    • Make sure to provide directions on how to get to your venue. Maps would be helpful as well.
  • Consider the maximum number of attendees. If your venue can only accommodate a limited number of attendees, you may want to create a sign-up thread on the forums for it.
  • Refreshments:
    • Although not required, you may want to consider availability of refreshments in case your fellow tankers get snackish. Indicating additional information such possible places to eat or an approximate budget for food would be helpful.
  • Film and photography:
    • Some players are camera-shy, so do indicate if you will be taking pictures or recording videos during the event.

CONNECTIVITY:

This is the most important consideration since you won't be able to play together if you're unable to connect.

  • Check the signal for multiple providers (if possible) so you'll know which networks will likely have issues for your venue.
  • If wifi is available at the venue, consider the following:
    • Number of people who can connect at the same time.
    • Gameplay quality when the maximum number of players are connected at the same time.

REVIEW:

Blitz Action organizers are required to submit a review within 1 week after their event at blitzaction@wargaming.net. Tell us how it went, what issues you had and how you dealt with them, how many people attended, what they thought of the event, etc. Pictures and videos are also welcome!

Exceptional reviews may even be featured in the Blitz news page and a special gift will be given to the organizer of these Blitz Action event!
