ok i have a slight technical question for those who know.  The T25/2 has an upgrade for suspension that doesn't seem to improve anything on paper.  Anyone has any idea if it is just a typo? Or if there is a benefit?  Otherwise I'll just save my xp for the t28 proto.

It benefits in reducing terrain resistance (Think of it like Newton's First law, an object that is rest, tends to stay on rest unless affected by an external force) which makes it accelerate faster, stop at a shorter distance and increase track HP (every tank module have their own HP). But the T25/2 isn't a good tank destroyer in it's current state so skip if you wish.

Ah i see..  Many thanks Christ1an22.  Figured there might be a reason but didn't know what.  Yeah i might skip this "upgrade' altogether. Its not too bad if u pick your spots and targets.  A much slower hellcat i suppose. Gun is decent enough with a fast velocity so you can deal decent damage and using camo more.  Can run alongside if need be.

Same on the T25 AT, the track upgrade doesn't improve anything statistically. I made it to the T110E3 2 months ago and i still haven't researched them.

Yep.  Soft stats such as terrain resistance and track HP are typically buffed with tracks.

As to the T25/2.  Its not a bad TD, its just not really here or there, grinding through it was alright, not bad, not fun, just meh.  Don't think you need to free xp it.

Its an unremarkable appearing awesome vehicle!

It's far better than the sum of its parts. I still don't know why. It lacks the fun of the Hellcat's speed, the querkiness of the Proto, and the boomstick of the T30. But it is an effective vehicle. And bland.

A grind vehicle. But does the job well.

Just had a few games in this after the update buff.  Must say the ROF now is really much faster.  With the engine hp increases are marginal but you can feel it as it climbs malinovka a faster now.  It still needs a rolling start but can keep it up now on gentler slopes. Terrain resistance still not great but a bit better than before. Its got just enough to snipe well too.  That should improve its overall usability as a turretted td.  Hull down is still good and the reloads make sniping fun.  Feels more like a armored turret hellcat is the best i can describe it.

ROF and stealth are what makes this tank. I can hide in places and annoy the **** out of the opfor and then appear at the end of the game right in their face (more often rear), tap the adrenaline, and bam-bam-bam! Game over! I wonder if my mistake on the Hellcat was trying to use the big slow gun. I seem to remember the M1 gun not having the penetration though. Whatever it was I sucked on that tank but not this one. If I can get a Mastery (come real close a couple of times) I will easily be in the top 50 on cellbrock when I hit 100 games.

I second the motion. From my recent experiences, the T25/2 is a Hellcat/Jackson/Medtank hybrid.. Just use it right and it will shine... That ROF saved my skin a good number of times too.

Update:

After having a couple more games with it, this TD is starting to feel like a Wolverine on steroids..

A short little side note. You can treat this tank like a Pershing. Its got a big mantlet with a bit of armor but fragile hull, climbs really good and will shoot a lot of rds woth surprising accuracy.  Of cos it still turns its turret slowly so give it some leeway. Still a gd unremarkable underated td.
