So even though I already chose British tds(FV4005) line
I still wonder if I should go for Vickers light instead

I like speed but also deal nice damage 
I am enjoying crusader speed but I also enjoy playing SU-100Y damage 
So 
yea, I am not sure which line to go for

You are very confused.
Look at the tech tree again and edit your post.
So the fv 4005 line is hard to play.
The Vickers cr line is simpler.
The fv 4005 is all about big guns and paper armour with decent mobility.
The Vickers light is low alpha but epic dpm plus speed and obviously, paper armour.
And as I always say(and I'm tired of saying this) it all comes down to your personal opinion.

Oh yea, exactly my personal opinion led me to start with Japanese tank line when I first got game and got back into it

so FV4005 is basicallt SU100Y

While Vickers
Is buffed version of crusader

The does fv 4005 plays a lot like the su100y but it has even worse armour.
The Vickers is not exactly a buffed crusader as it gets some turret armour and the alpha damage isn't bad.

no offense, but the SU-100Y is NOT in anyway similar to the FV4005. The SU-100Y depends on alpha damage to devastate it’s opponents, but pays for it with a lack of a turret. The FV4005  is turreted, and so can set up shots around a corner, and it’s 123mm gun is not impressive in terms of damage per shot at its tier, however has an auto loader which gives it incredible burst damage. The FV4005 is also far more mobile as well.

The fv4005 also devastates it's enemies with the clip damage so I guessed they are a bit similar.

Playstyle wise, I think the fv4005 will play somewhat similarly to the su 100y with the exception that the fv will be constantly relocating

If you were to compare fv4005 to a tier 6 td style, it is much more like the Hellcat than the Su100Y.  Mobile, turreted, good gun without being massive alpha per shot.
