So I am not really new to the game overall, I satrted in 2018 or something but only got a hang of it recently
And I kinda need some help with choosing a medium 

I already chose Heavy line(IS-4)
a tank destroyer line, which is FV4005 
and not sure which medium to with

Till which tier have you reached?
If your end goal is getting a tier 10, you will probably be disappointed.
If you have already experienced tier 10 meta, I'd say go for the t62a

I took a look at your stats and I suggest you stop gunning for a tier 10 and stay down at tier 5-6 till your wn8 and winrate improve. You have rushed up the tiers a bit too fast.

I think your choice of the IS-4 is a great one. I’d reconsider the FV4005 though, it is quite a challenging tank to play. The German TD line is great (the one that leads to the Jg.Pz. E 100). They have decent to great armor and insane firepower. They are turretless though. The T-62A and the E 50 are equally amazing. The T-62A is currently slightly overcooked imo, but that doesn’t stop it from having a rather poor average WR, so idk if it’s that good. The E 50 however, is very forgiving, I’d personally go for that.

The age of Russian mediums have been gone for a long time. Off the top of my head, I don’t see any Tier Xs that are totally irrelevant. The T-62A is overcooked slightly, but it doesn’t prevent that tank from having a poor avg. WR, so I wish WG would simply reduce its gun depression again.Tier X is not disappointing at all, Tier VIII is though, there are more premiums than tech tree tanks at that tier.

I am not going to go through hell that is tier 5-6 
I know how the game works, I know how to play it and the only tank I rushed was KV-1s, because it can go burn in the depths of hell

I am still trying to reach tier 10
and I don't play mediums as much, I just need a line which will help me understand mediums and will be enjoyable as well

Wait I should've make it more clear 
I am right now on tier 7(KV-3)
Tier 6 - t-34-85
Ter5- crusader
There are also french heavies(tier 6) but I don't play them as much

It's just that I have such painful memories with KV-1s I associate entire tier 6 with that anomaly of a tank

Yeah the kv1s is bad. It's the only thing that stopped me from going down the is7 line.

And I suggested that you stay at tier 5-6 for a while not because I doubted your knowledge of game mechanics but because your winrate at higher tiered is lower.

Chose one tier and stick to it for a little while(50-70 battles) and then progress to the next tier. But if you don't care about winrate and just have fun playing the game, rush throught the tiered(it's a lot more fun).

more of a casual that wants to enjoy driving his tank
