Hi Blitzers!

So as can be seen in the topic, is the chi-ri really useful in anything?Cuz ive noticed several things-

(1)Its the size of a boulder.

(2)It moves like a boulder.

(3)It traverses like a boulder.

I know it's got an autoloader and stuff, but why would i even bother playing this tank we got AMX 13 75, which has got -

(1)Better speed

(2)Lower profile

(3)And also, an autoloader?

Note- Im asking this not as a chi-ri player, but as a spectator who saw a chi-ri get ripped by a MT-25 in one of his matches.

I honestly don't see any point in the Japanese mediums. They are all bad. Low aour, low speed, bad profile(mostly)

Chi Ri used to be fun, but its lack of mobility in the current meta makes it suffer.

Chi-Ri has high dpm but everything else isn't the best. A below average tank fighting hordes of tier 8s is a bad idea, so the answer to OP's question is no. However, the STB-1 is great. Performs marvellously even in higher league rating battles. I usually just look at the tier X when choosing to grind a line, so if you don't want to set such a 'long term goal', I suggest not going for it.

Japanese meds are mixed bag. T5,6,8,9 are ridge line fighters where the an STB-1 hull down is a hard opponent to remove but the Chi-Ri I find excels in second line support or setting up ambushes and mid game flanking where the enemy are distracted allowing you to pump all three shots in the their rear.
