Even a noob like me can have good damage games on a loss. This tank is a hulldown monster.

See the evidences:

and https://replays.wotinspector.com/en/view/ece5b486a9059a7efeb921f4898bb097

On another note what should I do better?? Aim better certainly. And...??

It's a true pain in the arse in a Tiger 1, but I took note of its slow rotation speed so I CoD the T29 if there is no hope, it works like 70% of time. So be aware of that.

It was a situationally strong tank even before the buffs, but hull armour and hp buffs have made it stronger in general play.  It's still easy to kill if you have its side or back.

Certainly the slow transverse hull and turret is a weak point. But in a good position the turret is very bouncy. Such as in the vineyard replay above, I can held off tanks from 3 sides. I absolutely ignore the JgPz 4 on the left 30 meters away because he doesn't have the gun depression to shoot me unless he poke out of that bush and killed by the tanks behind me. Or the VK 28.01 who needs to crest the ridgeline to shoot at me. Only when they start to flank at me from the right was my doom sealed.

Sidenote: team is absolutely terrible. A slow heavy tank can get a patrol duty medal. I did 2000 damage and bounced more and the team still lost. Team did a measly 900 damage out of all my as spotting.

T29 is one of the best T7 tanks imo even before the buff. I'm just disappointed when move to the next tank, T32.

When i heard that HTs would be getting HP buffs, this was one of the first tanks I aimed to get. It was already strong and exceptionally good when hulldown. Now it has more HP and an armor buff - it is easily one of the best tech tree tanks in tier 7. I have 10 mastery badges in it already.

Also Tiger 1 really need to be classified as a medium tank, not heavy.

Could be, but in real history it played the role of a heavy I think, and wg aims to be as accurate when it comes to historical tanks.

lol after all the "rebalancing" WG has done, none of the tanks in game remotely resemble the real historical tanks, well maybe the fantasy ones do

It has great armor, and a good gun, so classifying it as a medium will be deceiving :teethhappy:, it's like saying the T1 Heavy should be a medium . Not to mention the sheer size of the tank.

Huh, I feel the T29 is bigger than Tiger 1. Even IS felt bigger. It's a Chi-To sized. And smaller than Tiger P.

I ground T1 Heavy early last year (before the buff) and M6 earlier this year (after the buff). M6 grinding is definitely much better. And now they added Hit point to the heavy tanks to ease the grind more? What was wargaming thinking? Do they want more players like the one I recently had on my team? A 39% win rate 200 average damage in a VK 36.01H cowering behind the rock at the spawn of Lost Temple doing 0 damage and 0 shot? Hey, sometimes I do that double zero also, but when I get that I died in within 1 minutes or so courtesy of my bone-headedness.

When relying on my memory, I can recall that the Tiger 1 is very wide and a bit tall. If I'm wrong then my memory is bad.
