you must be so happy to have so many Leos to shoot at! Racking up all the kills with your T1 heavy!

Its always fun to play different tanks.

if a tank has been underplayed, a good buff will encourage players to try a different rarely used tank!

The Leo did need a buff, just not as much a buff as it got. They went a bit too far in my opinion. The Leo was crap before though and did need improving.

The Leo was great when it was introduced a few years ago. It was also dominant back then. Then WG nerfed it hard. Now that it got buffed back to its glory days, I am predicting that it will get nerfed hard again because a new generation of players complaining about how OP it is when it's not. Us old timers here learned how to deal with them instead of playing into the Leo's game.

The thing that bothers me about them, apart from the fact that they are so damn noisy- I mean you always know if there's one (or more!) in the game - is that when they fire at you the whole sceen flashes and shakes and distracts you momentarily from what you were doing, or the shot you were taking, etc., So they are disorienting. And you get the same screen flashing effect even if you're shooting with one yourself. So they're unique in that regard. nothing like that happens with any other tank.

As far as i know, KV-2 can still easily 1-shot a Leo, and so can a SU-100Y (with a high roll). these sort of tanks keep Leo drivers honest. If KV2 nerf means fewer KV2 on the battlefield, blame WG for nerfing KV2.

T1 Heavy is basically a counter to the Leo. Faster than a Kv-1,  Impenetrable front armor, and very hard to pen side armor. However, good players are playing Leo not T1 Heavy because Leo is much more FUN.

But RB33 is right, many will complain and  WG will nerf the Leo. In which case, I'll just switch to playing T1 Heavy!  The T1 Heavy will dominate tier 5 if Leo is nerfed. Then everyone will complain about the T1 Heavy :D

Fight them long enough and you get used to it to the point that it won't bother you anymore.

@Erwin1001

I'm actually praying that the Leo doesn't get nerfed. Makes for variety on the field as while it's back to its glory days, it is not completely dominant because of the likes of the T1 Heavy. Hell, a properly driven Wolverine can make life miserable for a Leo LT.

25km/h max speed, its only good for shooting Leos that don't move.

T1 Heavy has the speed to chase down Leo's that are hastily reversing while waiting for reload.  (Leo reverse speed is 22km/h)

See bro? Dealing with Leos ain't that bad. :) Just remember that this game is one glorious version of rock-paper-scissors. There are tanks and tactics that sometimes works, and sometimes they just needs to get modified to work in your favor.

@erwin1001

Our friend here must have been able to bait that Leo into staying to fight him instead of running away. Lots of players fall for the "OP tank" status and get disappointed when they are not able to use it properly.

no not really, you don't have to be chasing them. Of course you can't chase them down, but you can shoot/kill them when they're fighting another tank, or when they don't see you, or when you get a shot at them when they're moving around. not all leo drivers are 60+% players.

Worst thing WG ever did was buff the leo! now they're everywhere, and even fight in packs like wolves. unless you're in an OP tank you don't have much chance of standing against them. even in my churchill III i'm in trouble.  :angry:

You'll just have to get used to them. Again, if a Wolverine, an non-OP machine can handle them, and I'm not even a unicum, just a decent player, then all the more you, a better player can take on the Leos. Perhaps you just find yourself falling too much into their game. You need to stack the odds in your favor instead of trying to fight them mano y mano. You already know this.

Oh by the way, I'm also using the AMX ELC, Strv m/42, Pz.IVG and M3 Lee and I had no problems dealing with Leos too for as long as I avoid playing their game. I'm more worried about the red team's big guns that can make me easy picking for a one pass drive-by shooting by Leos if those big guns don't one shot me

I thought you have no problems taking them on in your T1 heavy and matilda?  There are so many tanks that can counter leo, even nightmare. Leo can't pen a hull-down Nightmare from the front, and a Nightmare thats together with another tank can't be circled by a Leo.

I'm just saying the average player in average tanks has difficulty when there are fast and powerful leos on the red team. and I guess I'm just bitching because one got me in the ChurchIII and I couldn't do anything about it. turret and hull traverse too slow to shoot it, and speed too slow to reposition.

I'm not a better player than you. I only have a good wr atm cos I'm still in the low tiers
