When I come up against this TD, it's very hard to kill. But when I play it I seem to get killed easily. I just don't get it.!
I eat Leos for breakfast!  :playing:

maybe thats why my 30day Leo winrate is 70%, a lot of Nightmares running around.... with no turret, they are easily killed by a fast tank.

Leo's cant pen me frontally at all. also the traverse is so good that they cant CoD. I havent been even damage by a leopard yet, let alone destroyed by one. Use mainly HE loudout. its more effective than HEAT, i carry 20 HE. Also it deals 410 damage and can easily pen the sides and rear of most tanks it faces especially leopards.

That TD is still as Stug and in practice, still has the same armor profile of a Stug. Perhaps you were firing at its upper portion (the area surrounding the gun) head-on while it's delicate lower fron is well-hidden.  The frontal area around the Stug's gun can bounce some shots. In your case, maybe you were exposing yourself too much?

I have penned and killed many a Nightmare frontally with the Leo. The lower plate - bait the shot then roll out and unload your clip into it.

yes, you're right. I've learnt that it's vulnerable on the lower plate and the sides, and rear.

I think the number of Nightmares on the battlefield is discouraging players from playing Leo, which is a good thing for me as  a Leo player, as I find Leos more dangerous than Nightmares.  Nightmare is good at killing those LT who have no idea how to circle a turretless TD :child:

The advantage that TD's have is that they can kill you without you even seeing them. but once they are seen of course they become vulnerable.
