Yes, you read it right, WG is finally making changes to the mm. 
There will be separate queue for "Spehsal" players. Trolls, AFKers and 38% players instead of continuously getting in regular mm will get their own mm.

Should be interesting. I know we all like to whine about the vapour noobs being on our team, but the sad fact is that sometimes they are on the other side as well. Last night I had a KV-4, a Lowe and a Tiger P (I think) on the opfor. All 3 sat in the open in Canal near A while I popped my T34 in and out from behind cover smashing them for 400 each time. They even sat in such a way that I could pick each one off separately without being hit by the other 2. Not one of them moved from where they were. The Tiger even kept firing into the rock in front of me. 

 

Yeah I got 2600 odd damage scored and made $50k profit, but it wasn't exactly a challenge. All 3 were sub 40% WR types.

 

Is this new MM definitely on the Asia server? I’ve heard whispers that it’s only EU and Russia.

I can see a flaw in this. If the trolls are going to be put in the lower matchmaking group, then they will still troll and ruin games. The trolls should get banned and removed.

Seems to be on all servers..

 

Added a New Rule to the Matchmaker

In Update 5.4, we arranged for newcomers to fight against each other at first. Starting from Update 6.2, players that showed extremely low efficiency or that were absolutely ineffective in a string of recently played battles will be matched to such "training" battles. To return to the common queue, they'll just need to fight a series of battles where they prove beneficial to their team. We expect that this change will lead to a reduction in the number of "turbo leaks" and "turbo victories" so that experienced fighters will meet players with low or zero efficiency more rarely.

Yeah, unfortunately it appears to be only on EU and RU server for update 6.2. :(

The problem for the Asia server is numbers. As much as we hate these players, this will effectively halve the playing queue on this server.

but wow, WG actually listened to feedback about the 0 dmg players. they will definitely benefit from more training matches, albeit in EU and RU for starters.

As for the lack of numbers in player base on Asia... I get the point, but how comes they have the numbers to get me 7 times in a row in the bot-team... or put 2 smashers in the red team and none in the other. That does not seem to be a problem... LOL

Well yes, the MM needs to be better basically. This would work theoretically if we had enough numbers to be able to effectively have two queue systems that would not slow down times waiting for battle.

 

That said, I think it is wroth trying to see what happens...hopefully the crap players will actually start to get good and contribute.

What did they even fix? What kind of miracle do i need to lose 10/11 matches in a row.........

That looks a lot like one of my screenshots! Many ppl are saying tho that they've been on a losing streak since 6.2.  I know I have. my 30 day WR is down from 51.5% to 49.5%.

I’m not seeing any evidence that the new MM is helping game quality. That’s assuming it’s on the Asia server at all. I had an awful run in the T39 yesterday with 32% WR and in the T34 this morning we still have medium tanks in the front line with no attempt to hide behind cover as well as TDs going off to flank (T28 no less...) or the ISU that charged out if cover to take on an IS-3 AND a T-54. Haven’t seen any AFK this morning though and a lot of those yolo idiots might not have low enough WR and average damage to qualify for the nooby MM queue unfortunately. 

 

WG need to take into account survival time and cull all those who can’t survive more than 60 seconds. Maybe make that two minutes...

And then you get this sort of rubbish. Here’s two geniuses in zero armour TDs in front of my E75 taking all the hits so I don’t have to. There are 3 enemy heavys around that corner. What a pair of numb nuts. One of them somehow managed to survive and we did actually win by cap with just an OBJ 704 remaining on the other team. I got 2800 damage and a 1st class mastery. Those two plebs got 2400 and one kill between them.

 

the borsig player has 5500 games in it with WR 45% and average damage 1000...the waffle tractor 4800 games in his with WR 51% and av damage 1500. 

 

This is why it is so hard to carry these days. You never saw TDs doing that sort of yolo shenanigans in my day.

 

Sorry, I can’t upload screenshot. Too big. Just picture a borsig and waffle tractor in the buildings at the vineyards protecting an E75 from 3 opfor heavys. I’ll work on the picture.

The mm changes are only applied to the RU and EU servers in 6.2. 

Although I fear it will never apply to SEA, the average population has dwindled down to 2000 since last month and I'm afraid at that kind of numbers 2 queues are impossible. 

I hope by end of this year WG allows SEA accounts to be transferred to EU so that those who want to play and can play on EU server should be able to play blitz there.

I am kinda disappointed that this is not being implemented in Asia .It might be easier to grind xp in the special players mm . I mean you can't get any lower than that . Also less chance of being reported . Then after you have the higher tier tank you can play a few proper games and come back to the regular mm .

Fair enough.
Although if you get tired of playing tank you are grinding and want to switch to some competitive games then it may take a while...
