No never, this is the worst thing you can do and you will get raged at. Even if you are last alive your view range won’t be good enough to carry the battle. Seriously never do that.

Think of it as zoom mode so you can hit weak spots more easily at distance.

Depends. Some heavies are second-line support heavies (the Conqueror comes to mind, as do the French autoloaders). Remember - play the tank, not the tank type! https://www.youtube....h?v=NHcGXCHvzkc

But usually, heavies should not snipe. Sniper mode is not necessarily for sniping - it's just for when you want to zoom in for more accuracy.

I agree there are definitely second line heavies and sometimes even behind a med is ok but never camped in a bush reserved for thinly armoured td. So many times I am frontline in Stugg because KVs won’t move up.

Agreed - you still have the hit points to take a shell or two, sniping from the back in a TD position is a bad move.

Lol that spot on fort despair Where Everyone camps...

I was in st. emil in this position, and there was a drac, vk30.01d, And t-34/85 all camping. I told the MT to move, and the drac said “u go emil” clearly a noob player cus theres only one way to play the emil.

By that logic then you won't mind seeing a Nashorn engaging in a sidescrape duel versus a Churchill, you know, because sidescraping is an in-game tactic and feature, too.

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

Omg yes tier 5 me in SU-85 with not 1 but 2 KV-1’s and behind them a Pz IV. Guess who had to move.

People have no clue if Toaster parked next to my SU-85 I would happily move as I have more armour. And I would only have to flank right to that next rock and bush anyway.

Is this humour or serious.... KV-2 for sniping! My mind is officially blown.

I sincerely wish it's a joke.

KV2's weapon isn't only it's gun, but also it's deterrent effect. It keeps reds behind their covers and open to flank.

The best place for KV-2 is either behind a bush or reverse into corner of the map!

Hate kv2 snipers, do they know it has 8.9 second all-time or something? That's half a kv2s reload!

i used to play the emil frontline and topped out at 3.8k in one game. Even stock I would play the tank quite aggressively

I find it very difficult to play any TD how they should be as it goes against my playstyle. I do not have the patience to sit in one place and watch my team do everything they can to lose the game. TDs in the main are so team reliant and this is why I avoid playing them as much as possible simply because I find myself losing patience and getting on the frontline.

So true! Exact same case here.

yep. that's the problem with TD's; you're heavily reliant on your team. I think you'll always lose more often in a td than a tank.
