true.

Anyone know whats  the price of the latest PC version COD these days? Im guessing $100.

Are they also selling “premium” tanks in COD?

i used to play COD a few years back, but i almost get as much fun out of blitz as i did in cod. Albeit, cod had some cheats and i think ping made a bugger differenlce on that, but there was no MM rigging per se.

My son plays all those games, they make him rage hard. I have been reading about them and advised him to not bother. They are filled with cheats using aim bots etc

I haven't played any PC games since 2014.

PC games were definitely infiltrated with mods and bots back then. I wonder if the likes of COD and others have managed to block the cheats more recently?

Why do you guys buy tanks for money ? There are so many good tanks in the regular tech tree plus you can get premium tanks for free from events . You spend big money on the game and then you get frustrated over other things and get angry at WG . I have not spent any money directly on the game which is why I don't get angry about anything .

buying gold for cash and then using said gold to buy premium tanks is a shortcut in the case of tanks-for-gold.

that being said, i think most people who “buy” tanks are actually using free gold they may have accumulated via advertisements and missions etc, but some are using real money often.

there are a few extraordinary premium tanks that are OP, so allot of hardcore players and/or deep-pocketed folks are

looking for a little advantage over the mass market of non-paying players. Laying down the cash is not a problem for them.

agreed.

If someone was playing the game for a few hours(or more) each and every week of the year , carefully spending $50 or $100 or even $200 over the course of a year would seems frugal by most standards these days.

Yes, it is value for money playing Premium tanks for say $120 over a year plus. Cheap fun. .

if WG had a $100/year subscription model that included (for free) all tech and premium tanks, it would probably be a success for wg and many players.

Nah, as much as WG needs a portion of its playerbase to make some purchases, it also needs the free players to keep the player numbers up. If it was closed to just paying players on a subscription basis, you just would not get anywhere near the numbers it does now. Besides, even free players might eventually be tempted to throw in a few dollars here and there but would not be too keen on $100 per year.

i agree.

i wasn’t  very clear in my other post. I meant to say that the game should continue to be available free, but also offering a new subscription model option for those that want to fastrack and play all tanks.

Ah I see. Yes, then that could be a good idea as I know there're plenty of players that would do that if given the opportunity.

i would also be happy to pay $100/year for “free” access to play all the tanks.
