We are re-forming our tournament team.  We have been constrained by our small numbers and inability to consistently field 7 players.

 

Real life comes first and we're all adults with responsibilities.  Many of us can't turn up EVERY week (myself included), but we're keen to build a bigger pool of tournament players to cover for our inconsistent availability.

 

At this stage, we'll re-start in tier 6 to build teamwork, but plan on working our way up to tier x of course.  Long term I think we will play all tournament tiers.  I'd like to see us play at least one tournament per week, probably on Tuesday or Thursday evenings (Sydney time).  But it could be more than this.

 

We're not trying to win the twister cup, but rather to have fun in a team environment.  Tournament play in a good team has been some of the most fun experiences I've had in blitz.  We will plan map strategies seriously and play hard, but keep that sense of humour and fun.

 

We're keen to get more players with tournament experience, but its not essential.  The right attitude is more important.

All my plans to spend 2 months lazying around have been squashed . Dad gave a nasty surprise . Me and my family will be visiting Netherlands , Germany , Norway and Iceland . I am going to be forced to spend time in museums and eat all the weird food in these countries. Leaving on Monday . Returning 2nd June . Not sure what kind of ping I can get playing on Asia server from Europe .
