Guys, i always wonder if enhanced armor truly 'enhance' tank armor. Does it really work? or should i just use improved assembly for every tank. Thanks in advanced. Please do share your thoughts

Use enhanced armor if the tank is heavily armored and Improved Assembly for paper tanks

Im not a mathematician but I think 4% squeezes a bit of armor. just listen to nova, he is totally true.

Looking for Platoon mates that can do some good things. Refer to Tanks below.

Tanks: Chaffee, Stug 3 G, VK 28.01, M4, KV1s, Cromwell, T-34, pz sfl ivc

I agree with Nova, except I also use assembly on tanks with big HP pool that have tactical armor.

E.g. Maus. Played well armor works well. (Not that I always manage this) So more HP is good.

I choose improved armour on every tank - its in effect for every shot.

The extra HP are not that significant and may only come in to play briefly at the end of games. A marginal advantage in rare cases.

But why increase 4% of nothing? E.g Alecto. You get hit, it hurts. 4% extra on a low armor base won’t help.

Only reason to get the slot for some tanks is to unlock vertical stabiliser.

if wg state that enhanced armor will increase 4% of armor thickness, i will not hesitate to choose it on heavy armor tanks. I made this post because  i read somewhere that tanks in this game has 'hidden armor'. And that enhanced armor will increase it by 4% but it is not real armor. Idk what it is. WG should clarify what enhanced armor do to the tanks, statistically

There potentially is a hidden category of HP for modules. Reading about WOT there is a HP pool for modules. The ammorack for example can withstand a certain amount of damage. It is not entirely clear how this works but from experience I am sure that a high alpha shell going through armor is more likely to destroy a module. This fits the idea that there are hp allocations to modules. Equally it could be a percentage system in blitz - chance to damage.

Anyone know the T49 nerf details? That was nerfed to decrease module damage chance.

I didn't vote since it's really depends

Go +armor if you have well angled + decent armor tanks (IS line and similar tanks), the tiny amount of armor you get will matter a lot more on those tanks. Go +HP for the rest
