Yeah, that’s same for me! My theory is, pay for tanks. Nothing is ever free.

Thats fine - but a set price would be good.

I would likely fork out some cash for the chieftain but do not like the chest gambling - it’s criminal to have it in a game played by teenagers.

The Auctions are also dubious. I think WG would sell more tanks and get more cash in total with a set price. So many of us hold off from spending it those auctions.

The other hard thing in any event is an influx of new players.

2016 Blitz fair i got 2 Pz S35 and 2 Tetrachs.

2017 Blitz fair I got 2 tetrachs.

So drop rate for tanks has more than halved from 2016 to 2017.

Still plenty of tetrarchs

I guess by that, you want better tanks? Or WG should increase tanks to actually be won?

Yeah they honestly should, I 100% agree with you.

The algorithm seems a bit sloppy do you think?

They lowered the drop rate from the 2016 fair without telling anyone. Since people could buy gold to purchase chests thinking that the drop rate is same, such people may feel cheated.

How many Legendary crates would you have to open in order to have a chance of getting enough progress points for one of the tanks shown ?

Similarly for the Supergame - do the Legendary crates offer more Points towards the 153 that you need ?

Yes, maybe so. Maybe WG thought trying a new idea and see how the results are...

By points do you mean SuperGame tockens, or blueprints? You get SuperGame tockens every time you open a Legendary Crate. Or if you’re talking about blueprints to get tanks, you should bet on the tank that you want to you’re more likely to get those tanks blueprints.

Fill up the tocken bar and play a game of them Supergame and possibly win premium tanks, e.g; M60 (tier X premium).

Fill up, and get the required amound of blueprints and you will receive your desired tank.

Hi clova.

Thx doing this.

The fair was far from perfect.

-difficulties to open the portal

-winning tanks but not receiving them

-very complex system  (semi gambling ) that I waited for sk8te , meadsy69 and Unkindest to make clear vids on how the fair works.

- crazy tickets quantities needed for very popular premium tanks ; which is just regarded as pure greed from the players community.

-no new tanks in the fair for us to purchase. Only type 64 and chieftain/t95 that were only available true "luck" .

-proposed premium tanks are all old pixel tanks creations.  Which is again regarded by the community as pure greed.

-i tried betting with 190 tickets on the IS2SH... i only got blueprints once for that tank... for all other tanks i got blueprints,  but I wasn't interested for them. So recycled them all and didn't get the tank I wanted. Out of "luck" frustration I just purchased premium tier 8 T34 tank. (Because i know that for 7600 gold . I will get the tank!)

Yes... I got M3 light tank and Tier 4 sentinel, which i will probably not play because i m using credits and spare parts for higher tier tanks.

And got a lot of boosters, some credits. ... and 1 time supergame that gave me 20.000 spare parts... only...

-final verdict

- I feel the fair favored players that didn't have or not a lot premium tanks, which is good for them. I suppose.

- the betting part and slot machine style supergame leaves me a very bitter taste of this event , because as this event is part of the game this results as dissapointment towards the general gameplay of world of tanks blitz. Which is why I wouldn't want to promote the game to other people.  Just because of that..

-not having the possibility to direct purchase the tanks is soo frustrating.

Yes, I’m 100% with you on that, I understand how frustrated players are due to this Blitz Fair, yes, there was a lot of trafficking at the portal, it shut down many times, stop responding, blank screen, etc.. I’m not in charge of how it works, sorry.. as I stated before, you pay to win, nothing’s ever free!

PS. Thank you for your kind response.

Clova, can you please confirm whether you a machine or a person?

Have moderators been replaced by machine algorithms?

no tanks at all from numerous 4 ticket boxes or from the medium or large containers

I am playing most nights and it has been over 2 months since I got a tank - a premium Sentinal tier VI

ps; I don;t even count the Vickers tier II light as a tank, is great target practice for others

Yeah, many players haven’t received/won any tanks either, so you’re not alone on that one. :P

Make it back to Blitz Fair 2016. Yes, there was auction, but no blueprint in legendary and you could actually win some tanks.

Only accepts plats. Those that need help in grinding or wants to do stupid stuff, invite me. other than that, dont.

I won a Tetrarch.  That's not a problem, as I took the view that anything free is better than nothing.  And some boosters.  And a surprisingly small amount of credits.

However, the fair itself was overly complicated, for no particular reason.  Collect the things and the stuff to get whatsits, which you can spend on boxes to have the chance to get whatchamacallits which might give you bits of pieces of various vehicles, or more if you bet more whatsits, but only if you get lucky and get the right whatchamacallits, to spin the chocolate wheel to maybe, just maybe (but not) get a new tank.

This increasing complication of events has been a feature of Blitz in the last year or so.  It's not clear to me why it should be so.  It can't increase the engagement times (i.e. eyeballs on device) more than the old style progressive earning events.  Perhaps it's to distract from the cash grabs of the auction and loot boxes.

I'm also not a fan of the increasing use of gambling in events.  Especially when there is no transparency at all about the odds of winning.

Yeah, maybe 2017’s Fair wasn’t the best, hopefully it will be improved in the next Fair.
