  • T37 - rate of fire;
  • T-150 - hit points;
  • tier 6 Heavies - front armor (some weak spots like hatches or machine-gun will be strengthened).

"VK 100.01P looks perfectly balanced ??" The changes made are quite disgraceful!! changing the rules of the game during the game!! I was trying to get Mouse for some time and went through the tree of all VK’s and when I was eligible they changed the tree and brought VK72.01K instead (which is horrible vehicle). Now the changes on VK and Mauschen again horrible !!. The protection is the only thing they had!! Extremely slow and average gun. Lost interest.

WOT not happy!

Some of upcoming changes were revealed in our latest stream.

  • We are going to buff STB-1 (armor), Ferdinand (HP storage), Panther M10 (penetration), T23E3 (penetration), T71 (reload time, HP storage). 
  • AMX Foch is getting alternate gun (autoloader). 
  • Nerfs - KV-1 (armor and reload time), KV-2 (HE penetration), FV4004 (HP storage, reload time, accuracy and aiming).

how can i use the machine guns attached on the tank? i found this funny,,,, whats the important of strengthening machine guns on tank heavy tanks ? hahaha i suggest you remove it because it is not needed in the game anyway.

Changes for near future:

121B - rate of fire buff;

Grille 15 - concealment after shot buff;

FV215B - HP storage nerf;

Foch 155 - damage per shot nerf and rate of fire buff;

Progetto 65 - dynamics, accuracy, aiming and stabilization nerf;

Standard B - accuracy and stabilization nerf.

Hi RibbleStripe, thanks for the charts.

 

When are the Centurion I and Panther II going to get buffed? They have both been at the very bottom of the charts as long as I can remember! Maybe give the Centurion I an upgrade option to fit the 105mm L7A1 gun, as used in the Centurion 5/2 variant? Or give the 20pdr APDS with higher pen (wikipedia gives it 330mm pen at 1,000 yd) as standard ammo and HESH as premium (since in practice the APCBC round wasn't used much).

 

I'd be interested to see the T-34-3 on these charts. My guess is it would fall below the T-34-2, since the faster aim time is more than offset by worse dispersion (meaning you can't reliably hit weak spots), DPM (so you are an easier target for rushing), mobility (so you can't escape from a rush) and a larger profile so it's harder to hide.

 

I'd be very interested to see the WZ-120-1-FT on these charts, too. I suspect it would be a massively successful outlier, like the Foch at tier IX and the Foch 155 at tier X.

Ah, notice the stats of the 183. And people say it should be nerfed further. Grille and 121b are getting buffs while progetto gets nerfs, so it looks like tier X will be well balanced, except Foch 155 which will still be too strong. 
 

My hated super Pershing isn’t performing too badly it seems although I would rather play panther II. It must be the driver’s fault.

What will happen to ATGM tanks? 

 

While introducing the ATGM vehicles, we promised to keep an eye on their battle performance and make prompt balance changes if necessary. The latest data analysis suggests the changes are necessary, so the new LTs will be re-balanced already in Update 6.8.

 

 

  • Reducing APCR penetration will cause these light tanks to play their direct role on the battlefield—instead of penetrating heavies from the top.
  • The missiles were conceived as "situative" ammo suitable for quite narrow scope of battle situations. Initially, the ATMs appeared to be too versatile, so their penetration and damage are going to be decreased.
  • The T92E1 used to bounce shots too effectively for a light tank, so its upper glacis plate thickness will be reduced.

Hi RibbleStripe, thanks for keeping us updated.

I don't think these changes will really help though, at least not for the T92E1. I think it has 3 problems:

1. Armour. It ricochets far too many AP and APCR hits. This is not because of thickness but because of angle. Reducing thickness to 52mm means 183mm guns can overmatched but even the Obj. 704 152mm AP will still ricochet. I suggest taking another 2mm off, so at least 152mm and up can overmatch.

2. The APCR round. This has too high pen for its alpha and gun handling. Reducing pen by 10mm is a good start but not enough I think; it also needs a big shell velocity nerf. Ideally, the APCR should not even exist, ammo types should be HEAT, missile & HE only. Short, fast guns like this simply cannot fire high velocity ammunition.

3. Missile aiming system. As long as missiles can hit targets out of LOS, they are going to enrage other players. Increase missile velocity, keep the pen and damage, but change the guidance mechanic so the missile tries to fly along the line the gun is pointing instead of trying to hit whatever object the cursor is pointing to. This will prevent the silly trick shots, keep exposure time to a minimum, and keep the ability to engage heavy armour with no dispersion.
