To be honest, I really don`t like how most folks have this historical realism elitism mentality; VC tanks and Halloween event tanks get lumped together as tanks that people dreaded to simply exist in a game where a light tank from mid-late Cold War era gets to fight a WWII tank that didn`t see service past that war, or we all get to fight in and against prototype tanks that didn`t really exist in reality apart from name and proposal, and instead existed and incorporated in-game simply because WG created the armor, gun, mobility, and other performance values by guesstimating it out of their own a@#. Just my two cents.

Then again, I came from Ace Combat where historical and realism elitists will definitely bleed their eyes dry as soon as they looked at it once, so who am I to judge?

If you hate them so much then you better know how to kill those fantasy tanks better than anyone else.

I don't agree as my AMX M4 45 basically insta converts it into scrap

Before anyone gets salty I'm thinking about doing a historical tanks only training room, solves the problem

People have been doing that, just not on a wider scale. The other problem would be what people perceive to be WG`s greed. Well they have to had income source from somewhere to keep Blitz a game that is accessible to everyone, and how do you think the same old regular premium tanks will earn them steady income now that Blitz is 3 years old and counting? There could`ve been people who gets bored of the same variety of premium tanks they buy and face against. Not everyone is in from being historical buffs, I certainly wasn`t a tank history buff when I came on board.

They also said before introducing fantasy tanks that they would be "Weaker" then the original WW2 vechiles. After seeing this I think I rather gouge my eyes with a spoon then rather face it with my t34-85 or mt25.

There are plenty of actual designs WG could introduce to give the game more variety and keep it fresh instead of introducing those ugly fantasy tanks. Swedish or Italian lines for example.

Hmm, could it be they were having trouble with balancing the Chinese lines for Blitz? The mediums has even more trash gun depression than the Russian lines, and the heavies under Blitz meta could be straight OP because of how much front armor they have, and the light lines are also too OP because of their speed and firepower (excluding 59-16, which has trash pen)

Yeah, had a game yesterday at Yamato Harbor where the OPFOR Lupus flanked around A around our sides, I just tell the team to hit the lower plate on Lupus and behold, Lupus got killed easy by IS-3 and M6 Alien with the 105mm

I know, and I promised myself I would not buy anything more following 3.hate but I could not resist 3 tanks for $39 Aud..and I don't think the deal was up for a few hours, more like 10 minutes.

I too bought the bundle when it was priced that low - the 15,000 gold in compensation for already having the Nameless and Edelweiss was worth it alone, but I hate myself for spending any money on anything related to fantasy tanks and also with the game being what it is now. I don't ever play the fantasy tanks so I'm really throwing money away. It's the collector in me that wanted them initially and now, although I would have passed on the Lupus, the lure of a "bargain". :(

Hi Everyone

This is going to be a long rant, snowflakes please stay off. Now I got that aside, let me begin.

TLDR version: With the recent release of the tier 7 Lupus, WG should stuff their fingers up their [edited].

...

Agreed with OP, Lupus is OP.

I put a KV-1S 122mm shot up Lupus @$$ from mid-short range, and it didn't pen. It definitely 'hit' but did not pen/damage.  Maybe RNG wasn't on my side, but when does a KV-1S not pen anything from the backside!!!

It seems that WG will continue to introduce OP premium tanks because it will make 'new' player more willing to spend $$$ to compete against older player base with 100% everything tanks.

Good luck on the battlefield!

Yet another reason for me to stay at tier 5/ tier 6. I get to play against 'real' tanks like M4 Sherman, T-34, KV-1, Crusader, etc.

Even the fantasy tanks like GuP Hetzer/ Pz IV/ Kuro are based on real tanks so not really objectionable.

Absolutely, my friend. :great:

Every now and then I think, "Perhaps I should play higher tiers to satisfy the critics", but then I encounter all the (for me) abominations - the Dracula, Helsing, Nameless, Edelweiss, Lupus, Tankenstein, IS-3 Defender, O-47, etc - and I think, "Screw it and screw WG", and play tier 5, the highest possible tier that still has the feel of a WWII tank game. I have, however, taken to playing tier 5 mostly on other accounts so that this account still has a chance of being "serious" one day, when I can stomach it for more than a few battles before losing interest.

I fear though that WG will catch on to how many guys feel the same way and start adding more fantasy tanks in the lower tiers - they seem determined to alienate all the "purists".

Shoot that machine gun or whatever it is on the top, it's in a hit box. Nice when Lupus is hiding behind the hill and not understands what hit him.

What you guys need to know. The VC remastered game 2016 on ps4 cost 29 USD on the PS store... I find it pretty ballsy of WG to sell full VC game price , 1 tank only.  They didn't even do the artworks on the tank. Yet another reason not to spend a dime anymore.  WG are not even developing new content anymore they are using other games and animé series tanks and then make them profitable for them.... what funny is that the majority of players never even heard of the VC game before.
