I think it has already had its day. Players aren't using it.

For example:  Mastery in the Kuro, Ras for 7 kills, 1 v 4 and 3.2k dmg and no up votes! From either team!

I still use mine especially the ups but this feature is now redundant. Players are not using it.

Military Honour is as useless as the previous PR system. I use this but to be honest unless you are a 5 stars [edited] I don't see much incentive to aim towards 5 stars.

I think it does depend on when you're playing, and who else in the world is also playing at the same time you are.

Seems the folks from Oz and Kiwiland tend to vote a bit, but as you move West, not so much.

And only one Mastery? I've had maybe 3, plus a dozen 1st class and a heap of silverware, few voted upon and nothing of that sort for about a week.

But a gloves off duke-fest with a couple heavies in my wounded VK28 (I wore them down) and I knew folks were watching over my shoulder, that got votes. Not surprising, it was pretty good to watch, but stressful. Whittling down a KV2 and a Kuro from half health to dead in a VK that's a one shot to either of them, more luck than skill I think...

(Lucky that they weren't better drivers.)

It has lost it's value, and I've also noticed that folks who get lippy and have a HEAP of red votes, also still have 4-5 stars, with red votes double green votes. Many of them sure as heck have been upvoted for reasons that probably aren't deserved because they're not that good and they're not that polite.

I never saw any down votes or up votes in my military honour system even when I deserve one

It's a good basis to see how active a player is.

No! yesterday,, I scolded a player who crash on me head on .. when minutes later I saw 1 vote on the " provocative communication "... I think most of players especially most active one is aware of the feature and any more feature... whenever I update I always check the whole game to see any changes...

I m not doing it anymore.  Good or bad. Tired to see ppl with no stars, having 38%wr and then they play 48 average battles a day.... you know those guys are bots , even though wg doesn't do jack shi te about it. Besides it is not my job to police the game. It is wg responsability to check their game not the community.  Luckily I m not a paying customer anymore so, tbh I don't really care anymore what they are doing with the game. They will never get a ruble from me!!!

This is very true. I got to 5 stars after 3.9 because I played a bit, I was curious. Then, the rare parts issue from 3.8 sunk in again and I stopped playing more than a few battles a day, just to complete a mission or two. I am back on 3 stars and have lost all interest in the ratings. They are indeed as meaningless as the former rating, except for indicating that the player is active (to have received ratings from other, be that positive or negative) or that they are no good/abusive (a bad rating is unlikely to be "fake", unlike a good rating which could just be the result of being popular and have little to do with the way you actually play - that's how I got mine).

The intention is good, but the result isn't. Like many other stuff implemented.

There isn't enough votes, we should be allow to vote after 'every' battle we play.

For someone who plays 60+ battles a day, they get the same # of vote as those who plays 6 battles per day.  This isn't right and it won't help identify who is 'good' or 'bad' over time.  Once daily quota is used up, system has no honor anymore.

We should be allow to vote who we think is good/bad on the Green and Red side after each battle.  Over time, if we are consistently playing well, we will end up on someone's up vote. WG can even implement auto-vote when someone doesn't vote, just give the best/worst players on each team a up/down vote accordingly. For people who doesn't play the game as designed, i.e. AFK/Troll, it will eventually show up clearly.

I like the concept but it seems broken. I have 7 up votes and no negatives but still on 3 stars. However I've seen players with 6 up and 4 negative who have 4 stars. I understand that some votes carry more weight but come on!

Lol, this vote system, was good in theory, but people tend only to use the negative voting function as time progresses, and for the smallest things, like 'stealing a kill that someone had at best a maybe hit with luck on there side...'

Even if you constantly do high damage you probably won't get any rating. It bothers me. At lower tiers people don't even know how to give votes too. Look at this example at tier X with average damage:

Player 1- 10 battles with 2500 dmg. No rating

Player 2- 9 battles with 1500 dmg, 1 battle 4500 dmg. Gets 2 up votes

The honour system is not worth the pixels on our screens. I have seen a lot of players with no stars and no penalties.

Plus you are worried if you say something of getting a down vote by people who do nothing to help team.

The problem with the system is the disgruntled players who's abilities haven't lived up to their over-inflated image of self-worth are using it to spite honest players when they have been knocked out of combat and their abilities have been found wanting.  I, for example, have just picked up my third "Inactivity in Battle" for battles where sure I wasn't the top scorer damage/kills-wise.  But I was actively participating all the same.  The trolls are the ones who have turned the whole system into a joke.  There is also not much incentive to give other players a positive rating after each battle.  People are greedy.  So unless there is some kind of behavioural "reward", they will lose interest very quickly.

I like the idea but it needs tweaking

1: Only green team can give negative vote. AFK and Bots only hurt the green team so they should be the ones complaining. Salty global chat can be downvoted by your teammates as can poor performance.

2: You can thumbs up any player on either team as it is now

3: If you use all your thumbs up in a session you are rewarded with a small amount of gold, silver or parts

4: Missions competed give you more thumbs up to allocate.

Easy as to fix
