Track then flank
Cant do that? Well, good luck to your future teammates since theres another one that doesnt know how to counter a specialized tank...

Go for the lower plate, it is easy to hit and very weak. Or track then flank it.

Beware that Obj. 268 does not assure a penetration without gold shells on the 263. I would advise always loading HEAT or APCR when fighting the 263. I must also strongly advise circling the 263 to any medium drivers. Even though you can definitely pen the 263’s rear, the very versatile TD can get out of the situation with ease, depending on the skill of the driver. So how to combat these formidable TDs? If your a TD, use your prem ammo and it should be a breeze. As a med or heavy? Meds: try to target the TDs side or back when they are distracted. For tall heavies such as Maus? Fire HE shells right into the open top of the 263, maximising damage. For short HTs like IS7 and 4, keep face hugging, hull down, APCR the manlet.

Mediums can however destroy the tracks of the 263 if it’s a forced 1vs1. Once you have done that, fire at the TDs SIDE NOT THE BACK. If you fire at the back, the 263 can accelerate and turn around to face you. If he repairs the track in time, increase your distance with him again and do the same. I give this advice as only a driver of Obj. 268 and may not be 100% accurate.
