Issues with lag and frame rate drops will be resolved in the next iOS software update (10.2).

Stats since 10.2 update Ping 250-500. F drop to 19 on iPad 4 at start of game before anyone moves. Then ping spikes up to 1800 when players start moving. I'm almost tapped of credits now. There is no joy

Yep.  Ping still sucks despite updating iOS.  Playing lights and mediums almost impossible, heavies and TDs not much better.  Subsequently playing much less and thus missing the competitions etc.

The update 3.4.2 fixed iOS lags freezes for me. Now the performance is the same (i.e. good) as 3.3. I have iPad Air 1st gen and I run the lowest settings except not using 30fps fix.

The network ping is a different thing. Guys, please download Pingplotter https://www.pingplotter.com/download/ios/ to analyze where exactly the network fails. It is far better tool than just traceroute or ping since it draws a graph over the time showing not only averages, but also variation _per_ link/router in the network. I had issues that identified to be a mix of my own WLAN router issues (2.4GHz band can be dead-crowded) and lags at WG side.
