I used to snipe tier 7 tanks with stug back in the days. AMAZING accuracy and decent pen makes this a deadly sniper/camper(if you like to say). Combined with super sneak camo ratings due to low profile of the tank makes you feel so comfortable not getting spotted

Ask me if you want to. I recommend this tank to the only people who know what they are doing. Not any tank is bad, it's the driver I have a fine example here. I would miss my chi nu Because I sold it when I researched chi to.

I played very well in Stug 3. If someone is complaining that this tank sucks, first think about the way your playing it. Don't expose your tank and if someone has a shot on you then wiggle. (I sometimes bounce from that troll mantlet), the best teir 5 TD in second no. Next to su85.

More power to you bro, I'll stick with my SU-85I. Just enough pen, good alpha, good ROF, just as agile, and reverses much faster.

Yes, it's soooo underpowered. Please buff this tank so I can get more Pools and maybe even a Raseiniai from it.

Currently grinding and eliting: T25/2, SP I C, VK 30.01 P, Tiger I, Jagdtiger, SU-85,  Centurion I

It’s OP af when top tier, but against Russian Tier 6’s and high alpha weapons, it sucks, just like many other tier V Tank Destroyers

I like it because of its accuracy and suspension, play StuG, no noobs can CoD you!

Yeah, it's good as a sniper but it's a lot better when played as a ninja light/medium flanker. Even against tier 6, it's pretty easy to circle around heavies and TDs. Its traverse speed makes it really easy to circle, turn, shoot, turn, circle on any heavies. The only downside is its very very very fragile tracks and low HP, but you're not supposed to get hit anyway.

Here's a recent game of mine. I did not receive any damage in this game, but managed to circle and kill both the churchill and the Kv1s and clip the reds that tried to help. Imo, it's like the [edited], you don't play it like the usual way of playing its role. You still do your role, but in another way.

Underpowered at tier 6? No way.

Overpowered at tier 5? Not either.

TL;DR: It's balanced, imo. Don't compare it to other TDs

STUG is amazing. The gun is great and the armour is also very useful against tier 4s and some tier 5s. It’s also very fast and quite fun to play. Although the downside is that the reverse speed is a little slow and it’s side and rear armour can pen penetrated very easily by even HE shots.

played the stug 3 G a long time ago and it was very very gd amazing dpm and mobility allows me to quickly switch between positions and chew enemy hitpoints quickly. I would camp in the stug 3 G cause the tank is not favoured in first line combat. After all, stug 3 G is a sniper tank. If your playstyle includes a lot of frontal line assault then the stug 3 g is not for u. It prob favours the ferdinand, jagdtiger and jagd pz e 100 shld u be continuing to grind the line

Good luck on the battlefield! May RNGesus be with you.

From your average mate,

Sorry I'm late to respond to this, but I'm not talking about the regular tech tree SU-85, it's the premium SU-85I.
