In tanks, your exact number will determine a low roll hit, high roll hit, random bounce, ghost shot, ammo rack, or any other possible outcome. As Diamond pointed out above, a slow firing derp machine like the KV2 is highly RNG dependent. If the RNG gods are in your favor, your shots are one shot kills, if not you either bounce or get a low roll hit and have to then try and hide while your gun takes an age to reload.

RNG saved me when a soviet TD shot my lower plate (I was a T1 heavy) it robbed all my remaining HP (~350) except for 1 hp so I had only 1 left, thankfully I bounced the rest of his shots and eventually destroyed him.

Thats got to be painful.
I was playing with the matilda once as top tier, and man, that RNG really worked out for me. I got shot at by (i cant remember exactly) a cruiser 4, two panzers, a b1 and probably either another cruiser 4 or panzer 3. Hell, i bounced all those shots except for one single round by the b1, but otherwise i can imagine those guy's faces when they found out that they could not pen me. Man, RNG is so random. sometimes it works in ur favour but other times it does not like a kv2 nearly eating all my kv1's health
