I'll probably get the 263 this weekend, while crew training is still cheap.

What equipment would you recommend?

No replies, so I went ahead and bought it anyway.

Running rammer, binocs and camo now, basically the old school sniper setup.

I have noticed though that I often end up playing second line support, rather than sniping from afar, so I might switch binocs for optics, and camo for something else, maybe toolbox.

On WoTPC forums some ppl recommend wet ammo racks, but I haven't been racked yet.

Engine is at the front, and fires happen often, so I got the automatic extinguisher for that.

God, this tank is ugly! LOL

I wouldn't really snipe with that kind of armor

I'd do rammer, vents and optics
It works really well as assault gun, just like everything from that line starting Su-100M1

Played 100M1 as assault gun 24/7, works pretty well smashing meds left and right and the frontal armor will hold itself. I wouldnt snipe much considering the depression on it and the lack of usable bush in most maps

What do you mean? It's too good to sit in the back, and should be used in the front lines, or it's too huge to hide, and I shouldn't even try, or...?

There are no vents available for 263.

I do find myself playing support and assault more, so I switched the camo out for a toolbox. Still running the binocs, because I like to get those long spots in early. Might switch to optics later...

On a side note, this must be a very unpopular tank. I got four golden M in 30 battles!

Yeah still a very rare tank. Except the lower plate, when angled you can easily get 300-400mm armor, which deflects almost all shots. You can go Frontline with heavies and rip apart everything with that dpm. Just don't get flanked..

Will do! Which stream btw? I do watch his vids sometimes, but I don't want to sift through 10 videos, 3 hours each, to find the segment where he is rocking the 263. Link would help. :)

OK. So, basically, you're saying "no sniping", cause the armor is strong enough for the frontline. I agree, and that's how I've ended up playing the tank now. Very much assault style. Camo is gone, and replaced by a toolbox.
