WORLD OF TANKS BLITZ

GAME RULES

Last updated: August 5, 2015

1.Introduction

1.1. These Game Rules set out the standards of conduct determined by Wargaming World Limited (hereinafter referred to as “we”, “us”, “our” or “Wargaming”) that every player of World of Tanks Blitz (the "Game") must meet when playing the Game. The purpose of these Game Rules is simply to protect players from disruptive and unpleasant behaviour and to ensure that the Game remains an enjoyable environment for all players.

1.2. It is very important that you read these Game Rules carefully. If you do not comply with these Game Rules, then we may restrict or suspend your use of the Game. We may also terminate your Wargaming account. We will only take such action when you violate these Game Rules and we consider that it is necessary to do so. The action that we take in response to any incident will depend on the circumstances, such as the severity of that incident and of any earlier incidents. You can find additional information about the action we may take in the EULA and the Terms of Service.

1.3. As we explain in the Terms of Service, you are responsible for the use of your Wargaming account credentials (login and password) and your e-mail as well as any other credentials you use for entering the Game. You will therefore be responsible for any violation of these Game Rules by any person using your Wargaming account credentials (login and password) or your e-mail as well as any other credentials you use for entering the Game.

2.Names, Images, and Logos

2.1. This section relates to the names (for a player or a clan), posts, avatars, images and logos (for a signature or a clan) which you use in the Game (which we refer to collectively as "Names, Images, and Logos").

2.2. You must not use any Names, Images, and Logos that would generally be considered to be offensive, annoying, or otherwise inappropriate for the Game (which we refer to collectively as "Prohibited Designations").

2.3. Names, Images and Logos will constitute Prohibited Designations if they:

·contain or constitute an insult, personal attack, abuse or harassment;

·are derogatory, discriminatory, or offensive to people with a disability or illness;

·have any association with sexuality, paedophilia, or sexual abuse or an offensive reference to, or connotation of, the human body or bodily functions;

·contain logotypes, symbols, emblems, or figures connected in any way with any other group or organisation that violates (or has violated) national or international laws or rules of conduct;

2.5. If you use Names, Images, and Logos that we reasonably consider to be Prohibited Designations, then we may:

4.Inappropriate Conduct

4.1. When engaged in a battle, you must not intentionally:

·damage a vehicle belonging to a player in the same team ("team damage"); or

·destroy a vehicle belonging to a player in the same team (a "team kill"); or

·block a vehicle belonging to a player in the same team (meaning blocking the front and the rear of that vehicle). Claims of such inappropriate conduct should be sent to Wargaming using the request system that is accessible to any player within the battle in the Game; or

·'prop' a vehicle belonging to a player in the same team (meaning blocking one side of that vehicle when the other side of that vehicle is against a fixed obstacle so that the free movement of that vehicle is prevented or restricted). Claims of such inappropriate conduct should be sent to Wargaming using the request system that is accessible to any player within the battle in the Game; or

·inform a player in the opposing team of the location of a vehicle belonging to a player in your team (for example by using battle or voice chat). Claims of such inappropriate conduct should be sent to Wargaming using the request system that is accessible to any player within the battle in the Game; or

·use automated bots, clickers, macros, keyboard and mouse recorders, or any other similar methods to accumulate credits and experience without active participation in a battle ("automated cheating"); or

·use different game controllers and input devices in the Game (mouse, keyboard as well upload the Game on PC through emulator program, etc.) except for official gamepads for mobile platforms and other similar ones of the PS 3 / 4  type;

·demonstrate passive (pacifist) conduct with respect to the players of the enemy team; or

·demonstrate other forms of unsporting conduct that will be recognized as such by the Administrators, for instance fixed battles for the purpose of achieving statistical results that are difficult to achieve in another way and/or faster virtual assets levelling.

5.It is forbidden to place or post any information in the Game for the purpose of obtaining access to accounts and personal data of other players as well as to carry out financial activities, including electronic fraud. Such prohibited actions includes but not limited to:

·placing in the Game references to third party resources (pages) that are falsely represented as official resources of the Game;

·sending personal e-mails to players on behalf of Wargaming with a request to share their logins and passwords;

·sending personal e-mails to players on behalf of Wargaming with a request to upload and/or install software;

·distribution of any information that may harm any player or Wargaming;

·pretending to be a representative of Wargaming.

6.It is forbidden to carry out any direct or indirect propaganda of drugs or alcoholic drinks that will contain any information that may cause desire to use such substances.

7.It is forbidden to place any sexual statements or information in the Game or other resources associated with the Game. Such statements and information include but not limited to:

·erotic and pornographic materials;

·use of child images and voice reproduction for erotic purposes;

·materials that contain acts of sexual harassment.

8.It is forbidden to distribute information about the Game and other resources associated with it and about its development plans that are considered by Wargaming as confidential information. Confidential information includes information that is not published as official news or press-release on official resources.

9.If the player violates any of the provisions stated herein, Wargaming may, according to the EULA and the Terms of Service, suspend the player’s use of the game chat or access to Wargaming account, the Game, or Game Forum for a short or long period of time, or terminate Wargaming account at all depending on the seriousness of the violation and whether such violation is a repeated one. If restrictions are applied to a premium membership player, premium membership time is not prolonged for the period of time when such player cannot use it because of the applied restrictions. Any information placed by the player that violates these Game Rules, legislation, rights of other players or Wargaming may be deleted by Wargaming at any time without notification.

10.Automatic enforcement action in respect of team damage and team kills

10.1The Game features an automated system that actively scans battle logs to identify players who intentionally engage in team damage and team kills (a "Battle Spoiler"). (This system is called the "Automated Anti-TK Reporting System")

10.2The Automated Anti-TK Reporting System operates on the following general principles:

·the Automated Anti-TK Reporting System analyses battle logs over a period of time, usually several days, in order to identify incidents of team damage and team kills during that period;

·the calculations used by the Automated Anti-TK Reporting System are quite complex, but the principal factor involved in these calculations is the ratio between the total number of incidents of team damage and team kills made by a player during the period being analysed and the total number of vehicles of players in an opposing team destroyed by that player during that period;

·if this ratio exceeds a certain fixed threshold value, then the Automated Anti-TK Reporting System will identify the player concerned as a Battle Spoiler, since the primary objective of that player appears to be to inflict team damage and team kills, rather than destroying the vehicles of players in an opposing team;

·for the purpose of calculating this ratio, the Automated Anti-TK Reporting System will only include those battles in which team damage and team kills occur; and

·this ratio has been set at a level that is sufficiently high to take account of accidental team damage and team kills that occur from time to time in battles.

10.3If a player is identified as a Battle Spoiler, then the Automated Anti-TK Reporting System will automatically take the following action:

·on the first occasion, the Automated Anti-TK Reporting System will suspend the Wargaming account of the Battle Spoiler for 3 days;

·on the second occasion, the Automated Anti-TK Reporting System will suspend the Wargaming account of the Battle Spoiler for 10 days;

10.4If a player is identified as a Battle Spoiler for a third or any subsequent occasion, Wargaming may either suspend the Wargaming account of that player for a further 10 days or close that player's Wargaming account.

10.5The Automated Anti-TK Reporting System has been extensively tested and fine-tuned to take account of the various circumstances that can arise. Wargaming will not respond to any complaint about the operation of the Automated Anti-TK Reporting System or consider any appeal against a suspension or closure of a Wargaming account of a player identified as a Battle Spoiler.

11.Enforcement action in respect of automated cheating

11.1. The Game features an automated system that actively scans battle logs to identify players who use bots, clickers, macros, keyboard and mouse recorders, or any other similar methods to accumulate credits and experience without active participation in a battle ("Cheat Software"). (This system is called the "Automated Anti-Bot Reporting System").

11.2. The Automated Anti-Bot Reporting System is a guide to assist Wargaming to identify players using Cheat Software. However, Wargaming's technical support team reviews the information provided by the Automated Anti-Bot Reporting System and also conducts its own analysis of battle logs. In particular, Wargaming's technical support team will examine more complicated situations to try to ensure that players who use Cheat Software are correctly identified.

11.3. If Wargaming believes that a player is using Cheat Software, then Wargaming may take control of the Wargaming account of that player to investigate that Wargaming account and battle logs in more detail. If Wargaming takes control of a player's Wargaming account, then Wargaming will notify that player by email to the email address that the player has given for that Wargaming account.

11.4. If Wargaming identifies that a player has used Cheat Software on a single occasion or on a small number of occasions for a short period of time, then Wargaming may:

·suspend the Wargaming account of that player for a period of between 3 days and 10 days, depending on how many times and how extensively that player has used Cheat Software; and

·remove from that Wargaming account all benefits (such as vehicles, achievements, funds, credits and research) that the player appears to have gained earlier except for premium tanks, premium consumables, premium shells, 'gold' and other premium items and property.

11.5. Wargaming may close the Wargaming account of any player:

(a)whose Wargaming account has previously been suspended by Wargaming under section 11.4 and whom Wargaming then identifies as having used Cheat Software on a further occasion; or

(b)whom Wargaming identifies as having used Cheat Software flagrantly or on multiple occasions.

11.6. Wargaming may, at its sole discretion, reopen a Wargaming account that it has closed under section 11.5. However, before doing so, Wargaming will remove from that Wargaming account all benefits (such as vehicles, achievements, funds, credits and research) that the player appears to have gained earlier except for premium tanks, premium consumables, premium shells, 'gold' and other premium items and property.

12.Arrangements between clan members

12.1. Clan leaders, their deputies and officers have the discretion and the responsibility in the selection of clan members and the appointment of officers within their clan. Clan leaders, their deputies and their officers should therefore exercise this discretion with care, particularly when appointing a clan member to an important office (such as having responsibility for the clan treasury).

12.2. Wargaming is not responsible for the relationship between players in a clan and will not become involved in the arrangements between members of a clan. If there is any disagreement between players in a clan, then it is the responsibility of those players to resolve their differences amicably. Wargaming will not provide any assistance or information relating to any such disagreement including treasury logs (and similar details).

13.Official Language

13.1. The official language of the Game is English. Except as provided in sections 13.2 and 13.3, players must not use any language other than English in general and company lobby chats. Players should however be tolerant of those players who are not fluent in English.

13.2. The preferred language for the battle chat is also English. However, players may use a language other than English in the battle chat.

13.3. The Game features channels that are set for different languages for those players who wish to communicate with each other in these languages.

13.4. Although the official language of the Game is English, any communication in a language other than English will also be subject to these Game Rules. Players must therefore observe all of these Game Rules irrespective of the language they use.
